Data and Microsoft Fabric

One governed data foundation on Microsoft Fabric

We build Fabric lakehouses that turn ERP and operational data into trusted models for reporting, machine learning and AI agents, all from one copy of the data in OneLake.

Built with

  • Microsoft Fabric
  • OneLake
  • Data Factory
  • Spark notebooks
  • Power BI
  • Microsoft Purview

Outcomes

What changes for you.

One version of the truth

A medallion design: raw data lands in bronze, is cleaned and conformed in silver, and is modelled for the business in gold. Reports, models and agents all read gold.

Ready for AI

Governed semantic models and machine learning features that Copilot and custom agents can use safely, with the same definitions your finance team signs off.

Quality you can see

Data-quality rules with drill-down show which records need attention, so trust in the numbers is earned rather than assumed.

What we deliver

From first workshop to running in production.

  • Fabric architecture and capacity planning
  • Ingestion from ERP and line-of-business systems
  • Medallion lakehouse: bronze, silver and gold
  • Semantic models and Power BI
  • Machine learning on curated data
  • Data-quality rules, monitoring and governance

Questions

What buyers ask us.

We already use Power BI. Do we need Fabric?

Not always. If your reports are slow, duplicated or hard to trust, or you want AI on top of the same data, Fabric is usually the next step. If it is not, we will say so.

What does a medallion architecture mean?

Data moves through three layers. Bronze keeps the raw source, silver cleans and joins it, and gold shapes it for business use. Each layer is tested, so problems are caught before they reach a report or an agent.

Can Fabric run in South Africa?

Yes. We have built Fabric platforms hosted in Azure South Africa North, alongside the AI services that use them.
